For Jula’s indoor gardening campaign, I carefully crafted each scene to highlight the beauty of growing indoors. Working within the setting of a city apartment, we explored creative ways to showcase Jula’s wide selection of products, transforming a simple window space into a lush and inspiring botanical garden in the home. I even contributed as a hand model for several of the close-up shots.
For each shot, I kept in mind the need to accommodate several extreme cropping formats for web and print, ensuring there was always sufficient space for price tags and product information overlays
This job also involved location scouting and set dessing and benefited greatly from the beautiful post-processing work by photographer Niclas Brandin. To enhance the setting, I designed a new wallpaper to superimpose over the bland walls where we staged the shoot.
I did this quick sketch to sell the idea. Other framings were worked out on the day of the photoshoot.
This is the base for the wallpaper we used to give the room a warmer feeling and add balance the colorpalette.
